Often is the case that with Cruisers, "basic" is a complimentary term, but as anyone who's ever ventured into the Outback, crossed the Kalahari, or survived Grant's Pass in the Winter will tell you, the Land Cruiser is the most reliable workhorse there is. When you consider it has put in over 40 years of hard labor worldwide, it's no wonder.

The Land Cruiser is quite simply built to tame the toughest terrain! It's a utilitarian transport for the most remote places of the world where roads often don't exist. Get on an off-road mountain pass in the middle of winter and you soon realize you're driving something special; in the city, from behind the wheel of a Land Cruiser, a certain pleasure can be had in looking down on other drivers, as well, as a peace of mind in knowing that you are in a very safe "tank-like" vehicle. Versatility that surpasses almost all other vehicles manufactured, rugged reliability, and a timeless design synonymous with the wild frontier, endears the fierce Land Cruiser 4wds to todays driver and maintains a worldwide cult following.

"When I sit behind the wheel of one Jonathan's restorations", says close friend and screenwriter Greg Hren. "The transformation is amazing. Like a time machine, I am brought back to a different era. The retro Ônew truck' smell -- the attention to exact detail -- the perfection is all amazing."

To keep that nostalgic feel, all vehicles are restored with original factory equipment, not cheaper after market substitutes. The close attention to detail gives each truck it's own singular uniqueness. "From a consumer's point of view, the thing to remember," says Jamie, "is when you buy one of our Cruisers, you're buying an appreciating asset that you can use; not a depreciating one! We want to see our trucks keep people happy for another twenty to thirty years!"

• All of our Cruisers are hand picked from California and the western region of the U.S. by the owner.
  We never purchase salvaged vehicles or "basket cases".
  Original condition is photo documented before we proceed.
• Each vehicle is mechanically restored to original condition on our premises. All factory emissions equipment are compliant with California standards, the strictest in the country. No after market modifications are acceptable.
• Paint inside and out in the original color, matched by a paint code.
• All seals are replaced with factory weather stripping.
• Our mechanical team performs a full inspection of drive train, suspension, steering and electrical components. Each vehicle receives a detailed list of work performed and systems inspected.
• Our Land Cruisers surpass the general perception of a restored truck. Over the years, many have claimed such standards yet few maintain our level of craftsmanship.
• All work is completed in-house by skilled "Land Cruiser nuts", not by day laborers. Depending on inventory, we offer Land Cruisers in different degrees of restoration varying from mechanically restored with presentable cosmetics (stage one) to a thoroughly restored truck inside and out (stage two), or to a complete 100 point body-off restoration to better than new condition (stage three).
• More recent models like FJ60s (1981-87), FJ62s (1988-90) and FJ80s (91+) are usually in nice original condition and not in need of heavy restoration. These trucks may be stripped and repainted, reupholstered, or otherwise refurbished as necessary. Or we offer those models custom built with modern General Motors V8 drivetrains, four wheel disc brakes, and many other mechanical & cosmetic upgrades to create a one of a kind vehicle built exactly the way you want.
