1965 FJ40 Before and After Stage Three Restoration

FJ40 Specs

TAN 1965 Stage Three
This is a 1965 FJ40 that we restored as stock as possible. It was commsssioned by Toyota for the Geneva Auto Expo in 2001 and was then retired to Toyota of Iceland's New Museum Facitlity. We found the Cruiser in sad condition in Washinton state. The restoratin took over two years due to the fact that many of the parts we needed are discontinued. We would usually update a Cruiser with newer systems but not on this project. It is rewarding to have built what s believed to be the most correct, fully restored 1965 FJ40 in existence, but it drove us nuts.
