Stage Two 1984 FJ60.

This 60 sat in TLC storage for years before we selected it for Stage Two with Vortec. We built it for a customer in Colorado Mass . Some of the goodies built into this design include 1999 G.M. Vortec 5.7 V8 with a NV4500 five speed mated to the Toyota 19 spline stock transfer case, upgraded disc brakes, Old Man Emu, Tuffy console, Alpine stereo system, Kaymar rear bumper with no carriers, Cruise control, alloy overflow reservoir, Lokar transmission shifter, Aussie mirrors, Hella horns, Hella headlight upgrade, kill switch and Optima battery and a TLC 42 gallon fuel tank. TLC cosmetic work includes full body and new paint in the stock colors with chrome deleted (rockers and doors, grill panels), non US window weather stripping without chrome, new OEM exterior trim plastics, full interior with upgraded Toyota seats, new headliner, carpet and door panel inserts. We finished this Cruiser in May 2002.

Stage Two 1982 FJ60.

We purchased this truck here in LA from the original owner who bought it with the hopes that he could interest his wife in outdoor sports he enjoyed. Apparently it did not work because when we purchased the truck had less than 27,000 miles on it (19 years later) and he was single. After completing Stage One repairs, we repainted the Cruiser in the FJ40 Tan color from the 70's. We redid the carpets, floor mats, headliner, exterior emblems, Old Man Emu, ARB lockers, Kaymar rear bumper with the tire carrier with work light and jerry can carrier. It now lives in North Carolina (with another 60, a 62 and a 40 for company).
