1979 FJ55 Before and After Stage Three Restoration

 

FJ55 Specs

These two FJ55 Land Cruisers both went through Stage Three Restorations. In short, the Cruisers were stripped to bare frames and all parts were rebuilt, replaced, or otherwise restored to new condition and then reinstalled on freshly powder coated frames and restored bodies. The engines output were moderately enhanced as well as the brake system. All other systems were built to factory specifications.

The 1979 FJ55 had options added which included a Hi-Po 2F, non U.S. 5-speed, Power Steering and A/C , Hi-Po disc/ drum brakes, Alpine stereo system, custom suspension, 33x9.5 B.F.Goodrich All Terrain tires on stock rims and Lo Jack. One of 250 FJ55's made in the final year of production.
