Warranty coverage varies depending on stage of vehicle restoration. Here are the basics. Feel free to contact us for more details or to review conditions of warranty. Stage 1 & 2: 90 days or 4000 mile in house labor warranty. Maufacturers terms on parts warranty (varies from none to lifetime) Stage 3: -Nationwide -12 months or 12000 miles on engine parts and labor. -6 months or 6000 miles in house on transmission and transfer case parts. -90 day/4000 mile i n house labor on all other systems and manufacturers terms on parts. All warranties exclude tax, fluids, seals, shipping and Hazmat fees.   T.L.C. PARTS WARRANTY DISCLAIMER All parts new, used, refurbished or remanufactured, have a specific limited warranty. The length of time and specifics of warranty coverage depends on the type of part, and any coverage of warranty offered by the part Manufacturer. These warranties and remedies set forth are exclusive and in lieu of all others, oral or written, expressed or implied. No agent or employee of Nutcracker, Inc., d.b.a. T.L.C. or T.L.C. Parts is authorized to modify, extend or add to these warranties set forth. However, some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, or limitations on how long a warranty can last, so these exclusions or limitations may not apply to you. These warranties give you specific legal rights, and you may have other rights which vary from state to state. All warranty inquires should be directed to: T.L.C. No warranty claims may be made for any parts in which they were used for any Professional or Non-Professional motorsport activity, on-road or off-road, Rally Racing, or used in an industrial or commercial vehicle. NOTE: some parts DO NOT carry any warranties and are sold on an "as is" basis. All warranty claims returned to TLC Parts must first be called in with a description of the problem, and the circumstances leading up to the problem be explained. These parts will be issued a RMA number which must appear on the outside of the package, then shipped, postage prepaid, to the address above. No manufacturer, nor TLC Parts, will honor any warranty in which the failure was caused by something outside of the claims or warranty conditions outlined by the manufacturer. The following is a list of parts and their warranty coverage offered by T.L.C. Parts: 1. NEW PARTS: New part warranties vary from manufacturer to manufacturer and can range from 30 days to lifetime coverage. New OEM parts carry a 12 month warranty and may be taken to a local dealership with a copy of a TLC Parts receipt or if you prefer, returned to TLC Parts, postage prepaid, for warranty claims. Any questions concerning the length or conditions of a warranty on any new part may be directed to TLC Parts, and a copy of the warranty may be sent to you at no charge. 2. REBUILT / REMANUFACTURED PARTS: A. ENGINES are warrantied to be free of any defects in material of workmanship for a period of 12 months/12,000 miles, whichever occurs first. Warranty is limited to the replacement of the Engine only. Warranty DOES NOT COVER: 1. - Failures due to misuse, neglect, incorrect installation of the Engine, in correct installation of the Distributor or any other accesories not supplied with the engine, overheating, intentional modifications or alterations deviating from its original form for which it was designed. 2. - Incidental or consequential damages to either the vehicle, its components, or the installer/operator caused by any of the conditions expressed. 3. - Failures due to auto accidents or damage(s) to the vehicle or its components which may cause a premature failure of the unit, its components, or any other related or unrelated parts. 4. - Labor costs related to replacement of the unit, its components, or other parts of the vehicle, downtime reimbursements, cost of replacement parts, or substitute transportation reimbursements. 5. - Acts of GOD or forces of nature. B. CARBURETORS are warranted to be free of any defects in material or workmanship for a period of 90 days/3,000 miles, whichever occurs first. Warranty is limited to, at the discretion of T.L.C.Parts, the repair or the replacement of the carburetor only once the unit has been installed, or the purchase price may be applied toward the purchase of a new replacement carburetor, if available. No refunds or store credits will be issued once the unit has been installed. Warranty DOES NOT COVER: 1. - Failures due to misuse, neglect, incorrect installation, intentional modifications or alterations deviating from its original form for which it was designed. 2. - Incidental or consequential damages to either the vehicle, its components, or the installer/operator caused by any of the conditions expressed. 3. - Failures due to auto accidents or damage(s) to the vehicle or its components which may cause a premature failure of the unit, its components, or any other related or unrelated parts. 4. - Labor costs related to replacement of the unit, its components, or other parts of the vehicle, downtime reimbursements, cost of replacement parts, or substitute transportation reimbursements. 5. - Acts of GOD or forces of nature. C. POWER STEERING PUMPS are warranted to be free of any defects in material or workmanship for a period of 12 months/12,000 miles, whichever occurs first. As per Remanufacturer, if a filter (P/N F101) is installed, the remanufacturer will offer a Limited Lifetime Warranty with proof of purchase and installation of new filter at the same time the remanufactured part is installed. T.L.C. Parts will honor this limited lifetime warranty under the conditions set by the remanufacturer. Warranty is limited to replacement of pump only after installation, or the purchase price may be applied towards purchase of new unit, if available. No refunds or store credits will be offered after the unit has been installed. Warranty DOES NOT COVER: 1. - Failures due to misuse, neglect, incorrect installation, incorrect lubricating fluids, overloading or any incidental or consequential damages to either the vehicle, its components, or the installer/operator caused by any of the conditions expressed. 2. - Failures due to auto accidents or damage(s) to the vehicle or its components which may cause a premature failure of the unit, its components, or any other related parts. 3. - Labor costs related to replacement of the unit, its components, or other parts of the vehicle, downtime reimbursements, cost of replacement parts, or substitute transportation reimbursements. 4. - Acts of GOD or forces of nature. D. STEERING BOXES (MANUAL & POWER) are warrantied to be free of any defects in material and workmanship for a period of 12 months/12,000 miles, whichever comes first. Warranty is limited to, at the discretion of T.L.C.Parts, the repair or the replacement of the unit once the unit has been installed, or the purchase price may be applied to the purchase of a new unit, if available. No store credits or refunds will be issued after the unit has been installed. Warranty DOES NOT COVER: 1. - Failures due to misuse, neglect, incorrect installation, incorrect lubricating fluids, overloading, or any incidental or consequential damages to either the vehicle, its components, or the installer/operator caused by any of the conditions expressed. 2. - Failures due to auto accidents or damage(s) to the vehicle or its components which may cause a premature failure of the unit, its components, or any other related or unrelated parts. 3. - Labor costs related to replacement of the unit, its components, or other parts of the vehicle. 4. - Acts of GOD or forces of nature. E. POWER BRAKE VACUUM BOOSTERS are warrantied to be free of any defects in material and workmanship for a period of 6 months/6,000 miles, whichever comes first. Warranty DOES NOT COVER: 1. - Failures due to misuse, neglect, incorrect installation, or any consequential damages to either the vehicle, its components, or the installer/operator caused by the conditions expressed. 2. - Incidental failures due to auto accidents or damage(s) to the vehicle or its components which may cause a premature failure of the unit, its components, or any other related or unrelated parts. 3. - Labor costs related to replacement of the unit, its components, or other parts of the vehicle. 4. - Acts of GOD or forces of nature. F. TRANSMISSIONS / TRANSFER CASES / DIFFERENTIALS are warrantied to be free of any defects in material and workmanship for a period of 6 months/6,000 miles, whichever comes first. Warranty is limited to the repair or the replacement of the component(s) at the discretion of T.L.C.Parts. Due to the nature of of these components, NO WARRANTY WILL BE OFFERED TO VEHICLES USING NON-STOCK POWER TRAINS UNLESS EXPRESSLY COVERED BY THE T.L.C. CERTIFIED PRE-OWNED VEHICLE WARRANTY. WARRANTY IS VOID FOR VEHICLES ENGAGED IN ANY MOTORSPORT ACTIVITY, PROFESSIONAL OR NON-PROFESSIONAL INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO: Off-Road Racing, On-Highway Racing, Rally Racing, or use as an Industrial or Commercial Vehicle. Warranty DOES NOT COVER: 1. - Failures due to misuse, neglect, incorrect installation, incorrect lubricating fluids, overloading or any consequential damages to either the vehicle, its components, or the installer/operator caused by the conditions expressed. 2. - Incidental failures due to rocks, trees, auto accidents or damage(s) to the vehicle or its components which may cause a premature failure of the unit, its components, or any other related or unrelated parts. 3. - Labor costs related to replacement of the unit, its components, or other parts of the vehicle. 4. - Acts of GOD or forces of nature. G. STARTERS / ALTERNATORS are warrantied to be free of any defects in material or workmanship for a period of 12 months/12,000 miles, whichever comes first. Warranty is limited to, at the discretion of T.L.C.Parts, the repair or the replacement of the unit once the unit has been installed, or the purchase price may be applied to the purchase of a new unit, if available. No store credits or refunds will be issued after the unit has been installed. Warranty DOES NOT COVER: 1. - Failures due to misuse, neglect, incorrect installation, or any incidental or consequential damages to either the vehicle, its components, or the installer/operator caused by any of the conditions expressed. 2. - Failures due to auto accidents or damage(s) to the vehicle or its components which may cause a premature failure of the unit, its components, or any other related or unrelated parts. 3. - Labor costs related to replacement of the unit, its components, or other parts of the vehicle. 4. - Acts of GOD or forces of nature. H. SMOG / AIR INJECTION PUMPS are warrantied to be free of any defects in material or workmanship for a period of 12 months/12,000 miles, whichever comes first. Warranty is limited to, at the discretion of T.L.C.Parts, the repair or the replacement of the unit once the unit has been installed, or the purchase price may be applied to the purchase of a new unit, if available. No store credits or refunds will be issued after the unit has been installed. Warranty DOES NOT COVER: 1. - Failures due to misuse, neglect, incorrect installation, leaking Power Steering Pumps, or any incidental or consequential damages to either the vehicle, its components, or the installer/operator caused by any of the conditions expressed. 2. - Failures due to auto accidents or damage(s) to the vehicle or its components which may cause a premature failure of the unit, its components, or any other related or unrelated parts. 3. - Labor costs related to replacement of the unit, its components, or other parts of the vehicle. 4. - Acts of GOD or forces of nature.
