Designed to appear old style and stock, but with modern performance and unique color and textile choices, truly a work of art! 5.7 Vortec V8 with 4L60E automatic mated to the late model quieter 19 spline transfer case, P/S, A/C, four wheel disc brakes, and Old Man Emu suspension. Paint inspired by the new Aston Martin prototype Sage metallic, interior is suede nu-buck buffalo hide in the same color, with a zigzag stamped texture pattern. Exterior bumpers, rims and trim all powder coated Patrician Bronze (dark brown with green tint), all stainless steel hardware everywhere. Custom designed smooth dash with hand made CNC'ed billet dash knobs powder coated to match, tilt column, custom CNC'ed old style banjo steering wheel with half leather wrap. Long bed with removable top. This is the first complete restoration I ever did on a Land Cruiser (original Mint Green color) Completed as a labor of love in my garage at home, then sold to finance the opening of TLC! Lucky for all, the buyer stored it in his collection in Arizona and hardly ever drove it. It is still the nicest, most stock 45 I have ever seen. I am proud to have it back. 33,138 original miles, less than 1000 miles since major body off restoration. Rebuilt transmission, transfer case and engine. All new stock fuel system, brake system, suspension system (+2" lift) and more. Full 360 degree body repaint from bare metal. New headliner, upholstery, and carpet mats. Never any rust, from Glendale California. Three owners since new. Had a camper shell on from 1967-1996, so the bed is the nicest I have ever seen. Long bed with removable top and doors. Tan with gray interior. We purchased this truck in wyoming back in 1999. It was all original and fresh out of the barn with 66,000 original miles. We then sold it to a guy in Oregon who commissioned a Stage Three restoration. The design goal was to blend the original style with modern performance and utility. Restoration completed in June 2001. Restoration included; powder coated frame, custom stainless steel 17 gallon fuel tank under bed, Old Man Emu 3/4 ton suspension, full floating rear axle assembly from 1979 FJ with GM disc brakes-cross drilled rotors+arb locker, front axle assembly from 1979 FJ with cross drilled rotors+arb locker+warn burfield eliminator package, all stainless plumbing, OEM Toyota brake master and booster on grafted firewall (looks stock). Custom Stockton steel rims with 5-BF Goodrich 255/85 R16 tires, 5.7 Vortec, New Venture 4500 Five speed manual transmission, 19 spline split transfer case (the best ) with non USA OEM tail shaft parking brake, ARB front bumper with Warn 8000 winch and IPF amber fog lights, Ididit design brushed alloy tilt steering column with Le Carra wheel and leather wrap, Hella headlights and horns, compressed air system with H1 Hummer military air pump, 10 lb. frame mounted pony tank, two air fittings and stainless plumbing throughout. Dual Optima battery management system, custom center console under smoothed stock dash with full VDO gauges and clock, Alpine CD with Bazooka tube, amplifier and XM radio system with two door mounted Nakamichi speakers in steel powder coated enclosures, locking powder coated storage drawer under driver seat (designed with double track slides with bearings, barrel lock, stock cruiser pull handle), and extensive locking rear storage bin / drawer system with two main drawers (locking) and six side compartments (2 locking) in the bed. Body restoration and modification details included bare metal repaint in the stock color (all new OEM weather stripping, emblems, upholstery, headliner, stainless hardware and all the usual stage three details included), upgraded 1977 doors and windshield frame (wiper system too), deleted in cab gas tank, stock seat frames with FJ60 drivers seat (for improved comfort), original bed, cabin and front sheet metal. The entire body assembly is coated in Line-X polyurethane on the inside floors, bed, under fenders, and under bed and cab. All components used in this two year project were new and the best available, no stone was unturned. this truck has been driven 13,350 reliable miles since we built it. The quality of the work and pride of ownership are evident throughout. All vehicles are sold as-is. Our "As-Is" includes a TLC Safety service. TLC Safety ensures good engine compression, brakes. lights, safety systems and smog certificate. You then may elect to have any of our Stages Of Restoration performed on your Cruiser. Sometimes we will restore a Cruiser to a Stage (see below) and offer it for sale as a package. We are most respected for our restorations and conversions but the Cruisers we start out with are the cleanest in the country.
